Who we are

Our Story

Lulama Health Initiative is a youth-led organisation striving to enhance the health and quality of life of homeless individuals by providing essential hygiene care packages, health education, and access to mental health support. Lulama aims to help by bridging the gap between mental health care services and homeless individuals in shelters and by reducing the stigma surrounding homelessness through campaigns. We believe in the transformative power of community and faith.

Our purpose

Why we do what we do

Health Campaigns & Education

Our health campaigns and educational initiatives aim to raise awareness about health issues facing the homeless community. We conduct workshops and outreach programs that focus on nutrition, disease prevention, and overall wellness.

Mental Health Mobile Clinic

In collaboration with mental healthcare volunteers, Lulama delivers mental health services to those living in shelters, ensuring access to critical support. The volunteers offer counselling, support groups, and resources to address mental health challenges and promote emotional well-being.
